What Campfire Is

A community for operators. Not a content library.

Campfire is built for people doing the work, not for people consuming content about the work. Senior conversation, structured peer review, and the Stratecamp methodology applied to operational decisions you're actively making.

Practitioners-only

By design, by the door.

Campfire is built for people who carry operational accountability. CIOs, COOs, agency directors, PMO leaders, transformation leads, and the senior operators reporting into them. Not for vendors, recruiters, or content consumers.

Senior conversation

Structured peer review, not open chat.

Bring an operational decision you're working through. Get structured input from peers and Stratecamp practitioners. The format is designed to produce useful output, not hot takes.

Methodology applied

The Operations Architecture™, for your context.

The Stratecamp methodology, the four disciplines, and Capability Transfer™ framing applied to operational decisions members are actively making. Not theoretical, tactical.

The Four Labs

Practice areas organized by operational domain.

Members join one or more labs based on the operational work they own. Each lab is a structured peer-and-practitioner space, not a Slack channel. The labs reflect the Stratecamp practice architecture: People, Performance, Projects, plus a fourth for the operations founders building in adjacent territory.

Founding Member Benefits

What you get for being part of the founding 100.

Founding members shape the community before public launch. The benefits below are reserved for the first 100 members on the waitlist.

01

Founding-member pricing, locked for life.

Lock in preferential founding-member pricing that does not change as Campfire grows or as public-launch tier pricing adjusts. Your founding rate is your rate.

02

Direct input on community design.

Founding members shape what Campfire becomes, the lab structure, the cadence, the formats, the moderation. We build with the founding 100 before opening doors publicly.

03

Founding-member designation, permanently.

Founding-member status is visible inside the community and is permanent, signaling to other members that you were here from the start.

04

Multi-lab access at the founding tier.

Founding members get access to multiple labs at a single founding-tier price, rather than choosing between or paying separately. Cross-domain access at preferential cost.

05

Early access to Stratecamp resources.

First access to new Field Notes essays, upcoming Playbook editions, and engagement framework releases, before they are published to the public site.

06

Senior practitioner office hours.

Founding members get access to Stratecamp practitioner office hours during the first six months of community operation, for working through specific operational decisions with senior input.

Around the Campfire

Answers to the questions most people ask first.

When does Campfire actually open?

Campfire opens to founding members in the coming months as we finalize the platform build and complete the first cohort of community design conversations. Waitlist members will receive a launch invitation by email at least two weeks before doors open, with founding-member access secured before public registration begins.

How much will Campfire cost?

Public-launch tier pricing is being finalized. Founding members get preferential founding-member pricing locked for the life of their membership, so the answer that matters: your founding rate will be substantially below the public-launch tiers. The waitlist costs nothing to join. The founding rate is committed when Campfire opens to founding members.

Do I have to commit to anything by joining the waitlist?

No. Joining the waitlist is free and reserves your founding-member position. When Campfire opens, you'll receive an invitation with the founding-member offer, you can join, decline, or hold the position open. Your founding-tier rate stays available through the launch window. You're not committing to a paid membership by joining the waitlist.

Who is Campfire actually for?

Operations practitioners. CIOs, COOs, agency directors, PMO leaders, transformation leads, fractional operators, operational consultants, and senior operators reporting into them. Campfire is not for vendors, recruiters, content consumers, or people researching the operations consulting industry. Membership requires senior operational accountability of some form, either inside an organization or as an independent practitioner.

Can I join more than one lab?

Yes. Most operational leaders carry accountability across multiple domains, a CIO often touches both Performance and Projects work; a COO often touches all three. Founding members get multi-lab access at the single founding-tier price. Public-launch tiers will likely separate single-lab and multi-lab access.

What's the difference between Campfire and Stratecamp consulting engagements?

Stratecamp consulting engagements are direct, paid work delivered to a client, the methodology applied to a specific operational transformation, with Capability Transfer™ engineered into the engagement. Campfire is a community where operators discuss the work, share frameworks, and get peer-and-practitioner input on operational decisions they're making. Different products, different price points, different intent. Campfire members can engage Stratecamp consulting separately if they have an operational transformation that requires direct delivery.

What if you fill the founding 100 before I get on the waitlist?

Waitlist members are invited in submission order. If the founding 100 fills before your spot, you'll be invited as a second-cohort member at preferential second-cohort pricing, better than public-launch tier pricing, though not at the founding-100 rate. We'll be transparent about waitlist position in the confirmation email.
